|Recommended: YesFrom when I moved in last October to now I have noticed a lot of changes being made. Dog poop all over the place is significantly less, the issue of random people using the pool random people dumping a bunch of trash in the dumpster were taken more seriously now that we have an onsite manager, Sandi. You can genuinely tell that she cares about the people who live here. She’s assertive when needed but also kind and understanding when needed in my experience. My only complaint would be maintenance, it’s kinda hit or miss. Some of the techs are very kind and helpful while others can be dismissive and unhelpful. Overall, I’d say I really enjoy living here and plan to stay here for awhile.

|Recommended: YesI’ve had a really good experience living at Oak Court. The apartments are comfortable and well-kept, and the property itself is always clean and quiet. Maintenance has been quick to respond, and the office staff is friendly and easy to communicate with. I have felt safe here, and it has been a nice place to call home. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Oak Court to anyone looking for a good place to live.

|Recommended: YesDecent place to live, quiet — This is a reasonable place to live. I've lived here for the past year and haven't had too many complaints, and am renewing for another year. The new manager Sandi has made some noticeable improvements such as solving the dog-poop-everywhere problem, presumably by issuing fines and overall I'd recommend things currently. It's reasonably quiet due to the buildings being solidly constructed neighbors are only audible if they're being quite loud , there's a good pool and an above-average fitness center at the clubhouse 10ish machines and a cable machine, no free weights but it isn't a full-on gym so can't complain . Maintenance is usually prompt, though this has varied over the time I've been here as staff has come and gone.
It's a Wooten property, so you will of course have a 40-page lease that amounts to if we did anything wrong, no we didn't, if you do anything wrong, we will END YOU and the decisions that I've seen come back from the corporate office are exactly what you'd expect from a company with almost 5k doors in 2025 - a bit soulless and out of touch and focused on maximizing short-term profit. As an example, the new venetian blind they just installed in my unit is maybe a 10-15 piece, total garbage, and I kind of wish I hadn't asked because the non-functional one that was there before was actually much nicer - so much for luxury apartments.
As another example, when I was first set to move in last year, with a signed lease and everything, they corporate, not on-site management allowed the previous resident to go back on their stated intent to move out. For a day or two I thought I'd be moving into my van as I had already given my previous residence my notice of move-out, though we ended up finding another apartment in a different building. Turned out to be a bullet-dodge too, as I got to know the person who lives in the apartment I was set to move into, and they have had multiple sewage overflows into their apartment My unit has been fine.
Generally this is a pretty safe place, though I have had my vehicle rummaged through once in the night I don't leave anything of value in it so their grand prize was only napkins . There are a lot of kids and teenagers around, especially at the pool in the summer. Sandi cracked down on random people from outside the complex using our pool without permission, so it has been a better environment this year than previous years I am told .
Overall, 4 5, it does the job, nothing out of this world but no major downsides. You can probably find a better situation but you can definitely find plenty of worse ones.

|Recommended: YesNice place to live The amenities are really nice and well kept, and everything is pretty close and convenient. It’s pet friendly, with a lot of sidewalks to walk the dogs and a park within a 5 minute drive.

She's starting to get things done, stopping people from dumping in our dumpsters, keeping non residents from being in the pool, keeping dog poop picked up by their owners and finally getting our gym reopened.
